About Julie
Hi, I'm Julie! I'm an Interior Design graduate with a passion for many different creative avenues. English is not my first language and I know better than anyone what a challenge it is to learn and grasp. I want to teach English as a way to help others have confidence and support throughout their learning experience and when using English outside of the lessons.

I can help with speaking, listening, reading and writing. Casual/conversational English as well as proper/formal language conventions. My personal approach to private tutoring involves gaining an understanding of the student's goals and interests, as well as finding out what methods and techniques work best when trying to teach the student certain concepts. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and impactful and to check in, regularly, with progress to increase my students' confidence in their developing abilities. As someone with ADHD myself, I know people need to learn in different ways and my top priority will always be to make sure the student is actually able to engage with the learning, and walk away with new and improved skills.
