About Maryam
I am an almost graduated Enlgish Literature student (I also study History and Psychology). Up until now I've casually tutored my peers at college but I am looking to offer my help to others since the subject does indeed require a significant amount of critical thinking.

My method in teaching is quite holistic and I adapt my approach to what I infer is the key area the student will need tutoring in. This will include how to approach unseen texts, analysing Shakespeare's plays as well as the best way compare texts - whether poetry or prose. I base my methods from what I observe students (even myself) have required more in-depth teaching on, and what achieves the most marks in exams. I also provide home-made study materials and resources that would assist the student.
