About Lexi
I enjoy teaching students of all ages and musical backgrounds, and the lessons you take with me will be with your interests, front and center. Lessons are tailored to each student and their individual goals and needs, and all of my students improve within the first week of taking lessons with me!
I have a bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado Boulder.

I like to get to know your musical goals, tastes, wants, and needs! Depending on the student, I like to start basic but always keeping it fun and exciting. Progress over perfection is one of the mottos that I live by and convey to my students. Overall, just getting to know you, why you would like to take lessons, and helping to achieve your goals.
