About Aleida
I am a licensed secondary English teacher based in Newcastle. I have 4 years of experience working in schools in and outside of the UK. For 2 years, I worked in a high school in Japan teaching English as a foreign language and helping students prepare for their TOEFL certification. I would love to help out any student achieve their goals in improving their English skills for academic and communicative purposes.

Practical activity-based learning centred around scaffolded activities, discussion and active feedback based on students' current levels and learning goals. For students working towards their TOEFL certificate, lessons will be focused on the major skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing. Each core skill will be interwoven in order to strengthen each skill in a holistic manner.
