I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and have spent several years of my life traveling in Latin America, Europe and Asia, always with the objective of language study. My personal linguistic research concerns the evolution and origin of human language and the classification of language families

The dynamic, personalized & inquisition-driven tutoring I provide is backed by years of diligent language study and work in bilingual settings. Beyond my innate passion for language, my teaching is also reinforced by:
- a deep understanding of the manifold dialects of the Spanish language
- a diploma in Hispanic Studies from the University of Granada
- five years teaching English and Spanish to students of all ages from 20+ countries
- four years translating and interpreting
I welcome students of all ages, backgrounds, and knowledge levels. These lessons are great for students actively enrolled in Spanish courses who need extra support or want to get ahead of the game, or those preparing for travel in a Spanish-speaking country. If you are starting from scratch, I am happy to take on the journey with you :)
