About Sophie
I was in Speech and Debate at my middle school and high school for 7 years -- eventually becoming my team's captain. I helped others with their speeches and aided them in their oral presentation. Meanwhile, I also helped tutor fellow classmates after advancing 2 years above my grade level in English classes. Now, I help classmates edit their essays for college level courses and maintain good grades on my writing assignments.

As someone who grew up in an advanced system that wasn't tailored for their needs, I began developing my lessons to make sense for myself and other struggling students. My lessons won't be incredibly rigorous but will challenge you to think and make sure that you understand the material to the best of your capabilities. My lessons are for those on the high school level, especially those who are preparing for AP English courses.
