About Alex
After studying Linguistics and French at university and have worked as a language teacher in both England and France. I have successfully coached many beginners through their IELTS exams with a warm and friendly teaching manner. I have taught within companies and within educational institutes.

My approach - backed up by much linguistic research - is to make language learning fun & useful. I encourage my students to speak about subjects they are interested in & carry out tasks they enjoy or perform regularly, to promote the most naturalistic acquisition of a language (much in the same way we all learn our first language too!). I believe the best way of learning should be fun and as true as possible to the way in which we learn to speak our mother tongue.
