About Nayeli
I am a dedicated literacy tutor with 1.5 years of experience supporting beginning and struggling readers in an online setting. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and use research-based, structured literacy methods to help students build strong foundations in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
I am known for being patient, encouraging, and attentive to each student’s individual needs. My goal is not only to improve reading skills, but also to help students gain confidence and feel successful in their learning.
I am currently expanding my training in structured literacy and dyslexia support, specifically the Barton Reading and Spelling System, to better serve students who need targeted, effective instruction.
I take pride in creating a supportive and organized learning environment where students can grow at their own pace and reach their full potential.

My Approach as a Tutor

My instruction focuses on phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension through clear, step-by-step teaching.
