About Lily
I’m currently studying Comparative Literature with Italian at UCL, after achieving 4 A*s at A-Level in Drama, Religious Studies, English Literature and EPQ. I am particularly passionate about literature and essay writing. I love helping students discover the beauty and creativity within these subjects, rather than seeing them simply as something to memorise for an exam.
I believe that achieving high grades should come from genuinely enjoying and engaging with a subject, and I aim to inspire that confidence and enthusiasm in my students. I’m passionate about helping students reach their potential while making learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

I take a personalised and supportive approach to tutoring, adapting my teaching style to each student’s needs. I use clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions and exam-style tasks to build both understanding and confidence.
Lessons typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. I have been tutoring for a couple of years, with the majority of my students achieving A–A* grades. I teach students across a range of ages and abilities, helping them strengthen their knowledge, improve exam technique and reach their academic goals.
