About Jessica
I have the pleasure to work at a Living History Museum as a Historical Interpreter. On a daily basis I interact with the public teaching them the history of our site, demonstrating period skills and offering hands on experience that makes history come alive! I also have experience in tutoring students and teaching all ages, including high school and college students. I have a Bachelor of Arts in US History as well.

I like to tailor my style to the individuals need. Beyond this, I personally believe in taking an approach that makes the people and events of History jump of the page for the student and help to relate their own lives to those of the past. I believe that this method engages the student as well as makes a greater impact on their mind, allowing the information to stick rather than pounding in dates with little hope of retention.

Jessica is an amazing tutor! She helped me in both my U.S. and World History classes in high school and in my WWII class in college. She is extremely patient and kind, which makes a huge difference when you struggle with history like I do. Not only does she have an incredible understanding of the material, but she explains it all in ways that are easy to follow and learn from! I honestly couldn't recommend any tutor more than Jessica!
