About Eleanor
Hi, I’m Eleanor! I have a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Bath and an undergrad in Mathematics at the University of Exeter, and over 7 years of experience teaching and tutoring students at different levels, ranging from 10 year olds to masters students and medical professionals. I’m passionate about making statistics and data skills feel accessible, useful, and even enjoyable. I’ve taught topics ranging from GCSE maths foundations and A-level statistics to advanced university courses in statistical computing, data analysis, and Excel. I understand that maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear, practical steps that build confidence. Whether you need support preparing for exams, tackling coursework, or improving your Excel skills for study or work, I'm flexible and happy to help.

I'm a teaching research fellow at a postgraduate university, and have taught from Year 5 advanced maths for developed learners, programming to university students, prepped numerical reasoning tests and master's level statistics. I greatly enjoy teaching mathematics and seeing development in my students. I am a very empathetic teacher and can tailor my approach to individual students.
