About Nicola
I tried for Drama School for 4 years and know exactly how tough it is and what it takes! I finally got onto the course that was right for me and want to give on all that knowledge I have gathered to get you on to your course! I graduated from UCLAN last year where we worked a lot with devising our own work. We had to teach each other workshops and audition for parts in our third year plays, preparing us for the world as an actor. I am also a German and French tutor and have worked as a Teaching assistant. Combining my love for teaching and my acting, makes me a very hard-working and motivated acting coach.

First of all, I want you to be as comfortable as possible and work in a relaxed environment, where there is no such thing as mistakes. Before bringing your monologue on its feet, we will make sure that you understand your character's journey and can bring this across in a small snippet of a monologue. My method is mainly based on the body. The hardest part, when going to an audition is to move freely and EMBODY the character. We will explore the text physically and connect with it through different techniques, such as Biomechanics and viewpoints. My goal is, to make you brave, confident and as relaxed as possible for your audition. Being a foreigner, I also know how challenging the text can sometimes be (especially Shakespeare). If you are struggling with the language, we will be able to work on this bit by bit.
