About Grace
My name is Grace, and I’m a British native, TEFL-accredited English tutor with over 1000 hours of online teaching experience worldwide—and even more in person. Learning English can seriously feel like a challenge, but I love a challenge in life.. and I am really passionate about helping others overcome any challenges they may be facing with learning English! That's why I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way :)
Why learn with me?
I know what it’s like to struggle with a new language. When I moved to Brazil, I had to learn Portuguese from scratch. It wasn’t easy, but through trial and error, intensive training and memorizing plenty of certified ESL and language textbooks, I discovered the methods that actually work. Now, I use these same techniques to help my students learn English in a way that makes sense for them—no boring textbooks, just practical, engaging lessons designed around your needs.

I’ve worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, from young children to professionals, in settings as diverse as:

My teaching style
Every student is unique, so I don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Instead, I focus on:

Practical conversation – Learn English the way people actually speak it.. and of course with a British touch ;)
Integration - a better cultural understanding of the language so you or your child feel more integrated if you have moved to England
Personalized lessons – Tailored to your goals, interests, and learning style
Support & motivation – I genuinely care about your progress and will encourage my students to give me feedback on how THEY feel the lessons are going so i can always make sure i am teaching effectively and learning from you guys too!

Starting with a needs based analysis to see exactly what the student needs improving in or their reasoning for learning English, i love to make this initial interaction a open and enjoyable space to share fears or goals about learning and creating a strong foundation of trust to start our journey together! I like to form the lessons on the level i see suitable, incorporating grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary into fun and interactive classes, using music, games and providing a PDF and homework per class

If you’re looking for an English tutor who makes learning fun, engaging, and genuinely rewarding, I can’t recommend Grace enough!
