About Umar
I am a mature student at Royal Holloway University of London where I study History BA. I have always enjoyed history and it is literally something that I love learning and teaching. I am heavily invested in my students and they have gone on to get an A grade at both GCSEs and A Levels.
I also teach GCSE English having achieved an A grade at GCSEs and then an A grade at General Paper at A- Levels. My GCSE English students have achieved an A grade and some even decided to give their exam in Oct/Nov as they felt very prepared.

I work best when teaching one on one or in small groups. My teaching is based on topics and is focused from the point of view of the examiner as I have given exams before and know well what is required for a top grade.
Once I am confident that my students have a good grasp of the course I give them past papers to solve so that they can be well prepared for the exams.
My students have repeatedly called me one of their favourite if not their favourite teacher and they genuinely enjoy learning from me.
All I ask for is a positive attitude. I'm also very good at motivating students and do my level best to make the teaching as interesting as possible.
