About Carlos
Teaching has always been a lifelong passion for me. An appreciation for learning was instilled in me at an early age as both of my parents were educators. Knowing early on that education was for me, I became a tutor in college with subjects like History, Geography, Government, Economics, and English. After completing my Bachelors Degree in History from UTSA, I began pursuing my Master's Degree at UNT, where I worked as a Teaching Assistant with the History Department. After completing my Masters Degree in History, I acquired a position as a High School Social Studies teacher where I have been ever since.

Tutored and taught all kinds of learners of different shapes and sizes, (from 3rd graders to students seeking their collegiate degrees.)
Lessons will include accessing of prior knowledge/warm up time, refresher of previous sessions content, diving into new content, and a check for understanding at the end of the session. Tutoring for Middle School-College level students
