About Nehal
I am the salutatorian (ranked 2 out of 590 people) at Rock Canyon high school. I have tutored at Kumon since 8th grade, having completed the program. I am also the president of Mu Alpha Theta and Math Club, where we discuss math problems for competitions and prepare for the SAT. Currently, I am taking AP Physics C Mechanics and Calculus 3/Differential Equations.

Similar to my experience as a tutor at Kumon, my teaching method is mainly about PRACTICE. Firstly, I will do a brief summary of the concepts of the problems and walk through a problem or two. Then I'll come up with a few more problems to give the student and let them try it out. According to how well they do, I will adjust the difficulty or explain the concepts more. As a high school student who has taken most of the AP classes in my school (hence being salutatorian), I am also ready to tutor in other classes as well. My lessons will be for K-12, as I do tutor young children at Kumon but help my peers with our current classwork all the time.
