About Candy
I continue my History education wherever possible. My goal is to make learning History fun for anyone. I am a homeschooling mom as well as a Special Education Assistant. I love to work with people and teach in a fun, positive environment.
Once I know what part of History or Social Studies you need to learn, I turn it into a fun and interesting lesson. The reason I love to teach History, is I had a History teacher in high school who made the class compelling and fun. When I took the first test with him, I knew all of the answers, but I didn't remember learning it. It wasn't a grueling task.

I don't have a particular method for teaching. I like to get to know my students and inspire them the way that works best for them. I am adept from elementary to high school and even college. I continue to take college History and Social Studies courses wherever I can fit them in.
I try to keep it casual like a conversation. I like to add games in to help seal in the information. I will also write worksheets to help drill in the information. I can help with homework and projects.
