About Veronica
I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's in Psychology. I moved on to further my education at Nova Southeastern University and received my Master's in Reading Education while teaching at the Baudhuin Preschool for preschoolers with Autism and Developmental Delay. I truly enjoy working with the younger grade levels and that's why I have ten years of experience teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade here in Miami, FL. Since I work at a magnet school for languages, part of my day consists of teaching Spanish to younger students. I find it rewarding to be a part of my school leadership team and working along with student families. These past three years, I have served as both the Kindergarten Grade Level Chair and the EESAC Chair to further the collaboration between students, parents, administrators, and community representatives.

Teaching has always been my passion since I was five, especially since I grew up in a household of teachers. I absolutely love working with children and have had the opportunity to work with diverse age groups and students with special needs. I am currently teaching Kindergarten in Miami, but have previous experience with preschoolers with Autism, Developmental Delay, and ADHD. In addition, I'm also one of the Spanish teachers for the language magnet program at my school.
This summer, I will have a very flexible and open schedule so I look forward to booking clients that may need additional help in preparation or reinforcement in early elementary grades, specifically Prek-2nd grades. My previous experience with special needs students also allows me to aide families in tutoring and developing social skills. I believe that constant communication with parents and students is vital to make this a memorable experience for us all. Please feel free to contact me at anytime.
