Three rules :
1) French and only French.
2) I usually give homework (reading a text on which I ask questions ; writing a short essay on a given topic ; listening to a podcast on which I ask questions). I think that improving requires an important dedication.
3) I am available anytime to answer any question related to the learning of French. I think a teacher cannot be available only during classes and then disappear.
I am currently student at LSE (LL.M. in Competition Law). I have been teaching French to foreigner for 3 years (21 students over these three years, mainly foreign lawyers who worked in France). All of them improved dramatically in French.
As a teacher, he is really demanding but he helped me a lot to improve my French skills.
I think that the main reason why he is a great teacher is the fact that he clearly loves what he does.
I definitely recommand.
