About Francine
German has a reputation for being complicated and I think that puts a lot of students off before they have even given themselves a chance. I am passionate about helping students reach their potential, even when they cannot quite see it in themselves yet. Everyone thinks differently and I draw on each student's strengths to find the approach that works for them.
Aside from tutoring, I play piano, take long walks and stay active through basketball and the gym. When I am not working you will likely find me trying out a new restaurant somewhere in the city!

German is challenging but with the right approach it becomes manageable. I focus on grammar structures, linguistic patterns and vocabulary retention, giving students the tools to perform confidently in their exams.
Sessions are 1.5 hours, tailored to each student's needs and exam goals.
I hold a Law and German LLB and an LLM from LSE, spent a year at Humboldt University in Berlin and worked in Germany for a year in law and compliance. I have four years of tutoring experience at GCSE and A-Level.
Every student is different and I meet you where you are. Whether you are working towards a pass or gunning for the top grade, I will push you to get there. Students I have worked with have consistently improved their grades, going on to achieve the results they needed for their next steps in education.
