About Sophie
I am an extremely patient, kind, and considerate educator. I enjoy sharing my interest of Chinese history, culture, and social interactions with others.
I spent more than 30 years living on the main land of China, where I was born and raised. I moved to Canada after several years of employment in medical field. I received a Master's degree in related education from the capital city's Government University in China, and I am proficient in speaking, writing, reading and listening in Mandarin. I worked as an officer writer for the government and as a journalist and prose writer for a news paper company. I worked as a medical professional in Toronto while attending a medical subject in the university.

I enjoy teaching Mandarin to people of all ages, from the most basic to the most sophisticated. I enjoy teaching both traditional Chinese songs and dances as well as Chinese arts and Chinese sports.
I am qualified to teach the 5000-year-old Chinese stories. I am capable of instructing students in the 5000 years of ancient Chinese civilization. The Story of Stone, The Romantic of Three Kingdoms, All Men Are Brother, and Journey to the West are the four great classical novels from China that I have read. I also read all 20 of the most significant Chinese novels.
