About Marcel
Academic writing/essay writing is not easy. Many times during my undergrad I would stare at a page trying to get the thoughts from my head onto it to no avail. If you've dealt with that before, I know the feeling. But it's doable, and if I can do it, I know you can too.

Services I offer to students:
Assistance creating rough drafts
Assistance with grammar and spelling
Assistance with overall organization and clarity
Assistance with editing and revision
Who my lessons are for: High school and undergraduate students looking to brush up on their essay/academic writing
My approach: I encourage students to talk out their ideas and help to organize their thoughts enabling students to plan out their writing beforehand. Once this is done, I help students establish the overall structure of their writing and move from idea to idea with students encouraging them to ask themselves if their ideas flow well from one to the next. From this point forward I mostly supervise by reading over student's work, making suggestions, and suggesting edits where necessary.
