About Szimonetta
I am confident to provide lessons for beginners or intermadiate levels, using different teaching method, symbols and signs, Powerpoint presentations. I have a comprehensive understanding of speech, language and communication difficulty in children and adults. This enables me to give practical advice to help course participants differentiate their use of MAKATON to support individual children/adults with communication problems.
My taster lesson structure:
(approx. 30 min)
Taster session - To provide a general insight into MAKATON. To learn approx. 3 signs and symbols. Understanding your needs to be able to tailor the following lessons for your personal needs.

I have BSc(Honour)Psychology with Makaton Certificate. Currently I am a postgraduate student in Bristol. I have more then 5 years experience working in education settings, using and teaching sign language in a daily bases.
I have worked with Special Needs children in 1:1 settings in the classroom - both in mainstream and special needs schools in South West.
I was not only teaching children but I was trainning up Teaching Assistants, Nurses and other health professionals from Foundation Level to Indermediate Level. I give group sessions but I am able to carry out through webcam in a 1:1 setting.
