About Alisa
I have been an attorney in Chicago for more than twenty years. After the Covid pandemic, I began to look for creative and flexible ways to work and my ultimate goal is to become a digital nomad. In my career, I have taught law classes and in real estate, so I thought that I would enjoy teaching online and really enjoy meeting new people. Thus, I decided to work on tutoring as a way to bring together my communication skills and desire to help people in a new way!

As a trained professional legal writer, making myself understood is at the heart of what I do every day. To convince someone of what you are trying to say makes sense, it actually must make sense. So, learning how to communicate clearly is at the heart of what I do! First I would learn about you, and then I would tailor lessons to your needs, goals and your learning style. My objective is for you to feel more comfortable in everyday language, so that you feel and notice an improvement, feel confident, and can meet your goals!
I am available by phone or video-chat and I am looking to work with people who are excited to learn and grow their skills! I believe I can best work with intermediate English speakers who are looking to improve conversational English, those who are interested to gain more writing and written communication skills and who appreciate a direct and fun approach.
