About Olive
I am currently studying Makeup for Media and Performance at University but studied art all my life, my mum owns an art gallery so I have always been exposed. I received A* grades all the way through my school career and still paint for a hobby- still in the art industry with the makeup course at university and entered this field from the artistic background.

My desire as a teacher is to give students the practical ability and foundation to feel confidence in expressing whatever they require- whether meeting a brief or just as an artistic hobby.
My teaching methodology is relaxed but focussed. I will encourage my students to be expressive and attempt to translate their emotions and intentions through their work. I intend to teach my students about proportions- either to emulate a more appropriate overall image or to create a more realistic interpretation and techniques with various styles of paint and sketching. I’m personally particularly fond of oil painting but I work with everything and will teach my students the same broad knowledge to choose their own specification.
