I teach in a friendly and fairly relaxed manor, and I try to gauge what level students are at and adapt what I'm teaching them according to their level.
I focus more on speaking and listening, and some reading. I'm also happy to try to help with writing Chinese characters if students require.
Hi, my name is Max,
I teach Mandarin Chinese and I’ve taught Chinese to people of different ages, including children, as well as teenagers and adults. I grew up in the UK, I’m part Chinese, and studied Mandarin Chinese at university.
I speak fluent Mandarin, and have experience of not only speaking to friends in Mandarin, but also using Mandarin in other settings such as in different working environments, particularly in the area of media, where I have a large amount of experience communicating with colleagues in Chinese, and have also done news reports in Chinese. I have also studied, worked and travelled in China.
Apart from this, I’ve also learned basic Cantonese.
Please let me know if you would be interested in lessons, or if you have any questions! All the best!
