Hi everyone, I'm Miki from China — a native Mandarin speaker with a master's degree in Teaching Chinese and four years of teaching experience. I currently teach at an adult Chinese training institution, working with both adult and preschool learners. I hold an English Proficiency Certificate (Level 4) and have been focused on one-on-one online teaching since college, with over 4,000 classes to date. In my class, you won't just repeat after me — I use a professional method to help you find the exact tongue position and mouth shape for each sound. We'll correct your pronunciation at the source, making your pinyin and tones more and more accurate.
Language cannot be separated from culture. That's why I integrate cultural knowledge into every lesson — from daily customs to traditional stories. You'll learn not only how to say things, but also why they are said that way.
For young learners in beginner Chinese, I use animations and classroom games to help children learn through play — making Chinese class fun and engaging.
If a child already has some Chinese foundation, I don't stick to a fixed textbook. Instead, I will help explore and find the most suitable learning materials based on the child's level, learning style, and goals.
Different students receive different teaching methods — it all depends on your learning objectives. Everything is tailored to the individual.

If a student needs to practice speaking more, then she will structure the class so that you the student can practice speaking more.
If a student needs to practice their reading, then she will prepare material that is appropriate for the student's level in a advance. Her classes never become repetitive since she constantly rotates through different material to ensure that the class remains interesting and engaging.
