About Reid
My teaching methodology in Economics is built on the idea that students learn best when they can see how concepts connect to real life. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, and engaging case studies to make topics like supply and demand, inflation, markets, and economic policies easy to understand. By linking lessons to current events and everyday situations, I help students develop a deeper interest and stronger clarity in both Micro and Macro Economics. Motivation and problem-solving are at the center of my sessions. I encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and solve practical economic problems with confidence. I also focus on building integrity in their work by promoting honest effort, consistent practice, and clear reasoning. Many students I’ve worked with have improved not only their exam performance but also their overall thinking skills through this approach. Whether a student needs help with Economics, Business Studies, Finance, or related subjects, I personalize the lessons to make learning smooth and effective. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel motivated, capable, and ready to succeed academically and in real-world decision-making.

I am a passionate Economics tutor with 4 years of experience helping high school and college students understand complex ideas with clarity and confidence. I have taught between 150 and 200 students, each with different learning styles and goals, and I truly enjoy guiding them toward academic growth. Teaching Economics is something I love because it allows me to connect real-life situations with classroom concepts.
Over the years, I have seen many students move from struggling with basic topics to confidently solving higher-level questions. One of my proudest milestones was helping several students score top grades after months of steady guidance and practice. Moments like these remind me why I value education so deeply and why I continue to give my best in every lesson.
