About Tara
I have over four years of experience teaching French and hold a Master’s degree in Bilingual Education with a focus on applied linguistics. I use technology to make online lessons engaging and effective. Virtual whiteboards, vocabulary apps, and speech recognition tools are some of my favorite ways to help students improve their skills. My sessions are flexible and student-led, designed especially for remote learners. I have taught students from many different time zones and cultures, so I understand the importance of adapting lessons to fit diverse needs. Whether you’re in Europe, America, or elsewhere, I make sure learning fits your schedule. I believe French should be accessible and fun for everyone. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable practicing and making progress at your own pace. My teaching style for French is interactive and supportive, designed to help students learn with confidence and joy. I combine clear structure with spontaneous conversation to keep lessons engaging and practical. Whether you’re learning French for travel, school, or everyday conversation, my lessons are tailored to your needs.
I focus on spoken interaction through role-plays and real-life scenarios. Audio exercises help improve listening skills and pronunciation. To make learning fun and effective, I use flashcard games and other creative tools.
For conversationalists, I provide plenty of speaking practice to build fluency and comfort. Exam takers get targeted support on grammar, vocabulary, and test strategies to excel in their exams. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and motivation.
