About Kaya
With over 4 years of experience teaching French, I have developed a creative and supportive approach that helps students truly connect with the language. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies, which has deepened my understanding of both the language and its rich cultural background.
My passion lies in helping high school and university students overcome their struggles with grammar, essay writing, and expression. I believe French can be both beautiful and approachable when taught with patience and clarity. My lessons focus on breaking down complex grammar into simple, manageable steps, making even the trickiest rules easy to grasp.
I encourage students to write with confidence, guiding them to express ideas clearly and elegantly in French. Alongside language structure, I love sharing the world of French poetry, history, and literature, helping students see the language as more than just words—it’s an art form. My French teaching approach focuses on helping students build strong communication skills while supporting their academic and personal goals. I create structured yet engaging lessons that balance
grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Each session is designed to match the student’s level and learning style, ensuring steady progress and lasting understanding. I provide school curriculum support and guide students in mastering the topics they need for class success. For exam preparation, I teach memory retention techniques, test-taking strategies, and practical exercises that build confidence and accuracy.
My lessons also include cultural insights and real-life conversational practice to make learning more meaningful and enjoyable. I work with learners who are strengthening their connection to the French language as well as those learning it for travel or global communication. Together, we focus on natural pronunciation, sentence fluency, and everyday expressions to build ease and confidence.
