About John
Achieved a 1st class degree in Philosophy from Oxford Brookes University; was awarded the prize for best philosophy dissertation. Then studied for an MA in Philosophy at King's College London, where I was awarded a Pass with Distinction. In this time, have gained an in-depth knowledge of the subject, and much experience of helping my friends and colleagues get to grips with the required material.

I am the owner of 1st class undergraduate and master's degrees in Philosophy, and I am keen to put my expertise to good use! I am happy to tutor both AS-level Philosophy/Ethics students or even undergraduates who feel they could use a little extra tuition. I prefer to teach via discussion, since Philosophy is not a subject suited to the rote learning of facts, but is rather about exercising one's analytical and critical thinking skills.
