I started my guitar journey as a curious teenager, strumming away in my bedroom, teaching myself songs by ear and instinct. What began as a hobby quickly became a passion that shaped my life. Eventually, I pursued formal training and earned my Bachelor of Music in Popular Music, specializing in guitar. That blend of raw self-taught grit and structured education has deeply influenced how I now teach.
Over the past 3+ years, I’ve guided students of all levels—helping them unlock the fretboard, understand music theory in simple terms, and find their own sound. I believe learning guitar shouldn’t feel overwhelming. That’s why I teach with patience, humor, and plenty of practical hacks that make concepts click.
I also run real-time songwriting challenges with students to spark creativity and confidence. Lessons are always hands-on, playful, and geared toward making real progress.
