About Jordan

I am a Master's level grad from The Peabody College at Vanderbilt, AKA the #1 school for teachers in the USA! I earned both my B.S. and M.Ed. from Peabody in Quantitative Methods, And I've both taught in higher Ed and worked as a private tutor and academic coach since earning my degrees in '15 and '17. I'm a trained psychometrician and assessment expert! So I know exactly how to define your academic strengths and deficits then target your hyper-specific learning needs on a much more manageable level than most techniques. I use proven, data-driven methods backed by cognitive science to reinforce the learning you need to do! And we will have a good time doing it together too! You'll emerge with a supreme sense of self-efficacy AND the grades/scores you want!

The expert approach I was trained in is called Formative Assessment. I utilize advanced psychometric tools and exercises to narrow down precisely where the learning challenges are occurring. I then translate the results of my assessments into highly targeted multimodal learning and practice materials. With this approach, we won't waste any time rehashing material you've already mastered. Instead, we simply strengthen the gaps until you've reached your goals! I utilize lots of practice quizzes and interactive refresher videos with accompanying practice problems--all calibrated to your measured mastery levels. We won't just be reviewing notes or reading the textbook. I will assess and teach you the specific content and subtopics dragging your scores down, then provide you with customized sets of practice activities to build up your understanding and confidence rapidly. I also incorporate learning styles into my approach (reader, listener, visualizer, doer, memorizer) etc. Then I'll provide you with a comprehensive study and homework plan to easily manage your time and stress as you improve your performance. My system works wonders! Formative assessment and the tailored instructional activities and practice exercises that match your current learning levels and meet you where you are at each step of the way--that's the uniquely powerful psychometric approach I bring! I learned from the best pedagogues and educational researchers in the world at Peabody how to scaffold learning for students of all abilities and backgrounds using these methods! I guarantee your grades and test scores will skyrocket working with my system.

I always start with the complimentary intro session and personalized needs assessment. After that, I will recommend a study plan based on those results. My pricing is dynamic and adjusts according to the amount of instruction needed. I can only take on a handful of students at a time, and I guarantee results following my study plans!
