About George

I am a high-achieving student currently holding Grade 9s in both Mathematics and Computing. My passion for technology goes beyond the classroom; I have successfully developed and launched multiple original games and applications using my advanced coding skills. I want to teach because I enjoy simplifying complex logic for others. I bring a fresh, student-focused perspective to tutoring, helping younger learners achieve the same top-tier results I have reached through dedicated practice and clear, logical thinking.

About the lesson

I specialise in bridging the gap between Primary school (KS2) and early Secondary (KS3), ensuring students have a rock-solid foundation in Maths and Computing. My lessons are typically 40 minutes to 1 hour long. I use a 'check-for-understanding' method where I explain a concept, ask the students to repeat it back to me and even explain to their peers, and then provide supervised practice. We repeat this process until the students feel confident and fully understand the topic.
