About Flavia Darcie
I teach classical singing using a healthy technique that explores the whole body as an instrument. Adequate breathing, good posture and a conscious and tension-free body will enable great artistic and personal growth. Singing is telling stories, so we will explore the poetry, its characters and bring the songs to life by understanding the reason for each word and musical note!

Hello, my name is Flávia Darcie, Mezzo-Soprano Master of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from New York University and Bachelor of Music with concentration in Choral and Orchestral Conducting from Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado. I've lived in New York since 2016 and I am currently part of 3 Opera companies: Dell'Arte Ensemble Opera, The Opera Collective and International Brazilian Opera Company. My passion for music started when piano was introduced into my life at the age of 10. I explored various aspects of music until one day I managed to unite it with my passion for theater through Classical Singing (Opera). All the experiences I've had so far allow me to teach Voice in a more complete and comprehensive way. My classes will help you explore your creativity in a simple and objective way.
