About Rafael
"Homeschooling families often seek a structured approach to learning the fretboard. You might hear the crisp snap of a fingerpicked string or the smooth transition of a barre chord as we work.
My background includes a Master of Music in Vocal Studies and 13 years of general teaching experience. I teach power chords, fingerpicking, grade exam prep, and reading sheet music with clarity. Chord transitions, strumming patterns, scales, modes, and electric technique form the foundation of our work. Music theory provides the glue for these diverse concepts."

"Your first session starts with a clear assessment of your current technical ability. We define your musical goals immediately. Lessons draw upon my 13 years of experience performing and teaching across various disciplines. We apply the formal rigour of my Royal Academy of Music training to every guitar piece.
You will navigate complex scales and modes while building a solid grasp of music theory. Progress remains consistent as we refine your fingerpicking and strumming patterns together. I focus on developing your electric technique and chord transitions over time. These sessions prepare you for future musical success."
