About Jamel
Vibrato control, head and chest voice, pitch control, microphone technique, warm up exercises, breathing control, tone and resonance, sight singing, and performance confidence are the pillars of my instruction. I have refined these technical areas for 9 years as a graduate of the Eastman School of Music. It is a genuine privilege to watch students evolve from nervous first timers into confident singers who trust their own voices completely. My own training informs every single correction I offer during our time together.

"Do you find yourself wondering how to sustain notes without feeling strain or tension in your throat? Breath support is the foundation that we will address through systematic exercises designed to balance your resonance.
We will also incorporate microphone technique to ensure you sound polished during live settings. I track your progress by assigning 10.0 out of 10 difficulty homework vocal drills after every single session.
You can expect 8 distinct phases of development during our work. Consistency remains the key to your growth as a vocalist. I enjoy seeing the moment a difficult passage finally clicks for a pupil."
