I’m a Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience and a BSc in Biophysics. My passion lies in helping students grasp applied optics, especially fibre optics and microscopy. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts like light propagation and total internal reflection into understandable lessons. Lens design and image formation are topics I teach with practical examples from telecommunications and biomedical imaging. I guide students through how light travels through fibre optic cables, enabling fast internet connections. In microscopy, I explain how lenses focus light to create detailed images of tiny structures. Many of my students are future engineers or medical device developers, so I tailor lessons to real-world applications they’ll encounter in their careers. I use hands-on examples to show how physics underpins cutting-edge technology. Whether it’s the principles behind endoscopes or the design of optical sensors, my goal is to make learning engaging and relevant. I believe that understanding the physics of light opens doors to amazing innovations.
