I see each complex section in science and mathematics as a composition of relatively simple questions whose solutions often involve the application of rudimentary mathematical and scientific axioms. As such, I seek to impress upon my students the importance of decomposing problems by rewriting the questions posed in a generally longer but more comprehensible form.
I believe students need to be enjoying studying to be productive. I try to connect with students on a personal level by appearing more like a friend than an authority figure. Students will still understand the need to learn but my lessons/revision sessions will be much more informal than a lesson at school.
I have experience of teaching university students during my degree and believe I have a friendly and effective approach to learning. I prefer a more relaxed style because I feel the most successful learning occurs when students are engaged and feel comfortable asking questions. However, I am very flexible and can also accommodate for students that would like a more formal, classroom-style approach.
I am a physics and mathematics graduate with experience tutoring primary and secondary students.
I have a natural talent for numeracy, and systems thinking. I have been an IT and engineering professional for the past 12 years. I enjoy teaching aspiring students and helping them cultivate and recognise their own innate gifts. I pride myself in being able to listen, truly listen, before setting those that I tutor on a path of self discovery.

I like to initially summarise the topic to ensure that all of the required material is covered. Linking topics is important for me as a thorough understanding of how they link together provides a stronger base of understanding and makes it easier to remember and apply to examples. I prefer to teach particularly difficult methods and derivations with examples.
I prefer to connect with student on their level so that they are comfortable and put their trust in me to guide them into becoming their best selves. I will do a lot of pre planned lessons once I evaluate their position and keep efficient progress reports.
I am available to give both mathematics and physics lessons to pupils of any age, up to and including those taking GCSEs and A-levels. My lessons are based on setting small milestones in order to achieve a stress-free, seamless progression of understanding within a topic while simultaneously raising the student's confidence.
My teaching method is to work through example questions with the student then allow a chance for the individual to attempt a question alone.
When I teach a topic, I try to make the student understand the reason behind the solution. I, along with people I taught, find this to help with deeper understanding of the topic, which in turn allows the students to get much better grasp of other topics that may be similar or directly related.
I have been tutoring for 8 years now to countless kids at all levels of education. I've learned to adapt my method of teaching to suit each student personally and achieve the desired grade or higher and in many cases have succeeded.
I approach each pupil dependant upon their needs, build on concepts that they are familiar with and use methods that are best for each student. For example some pupils might prefer visual aids whereas others may prefer descriptive examples. Everyone is unique and everyone learns their own way, I will attempt to find what that is and nurture it to the best of their ability.
I am an exchange student from Vienna, Austria, here in Leeds for my final undergraduate semester. I give lessons on maths up to A-Levels and also some of undergraduate mathematics, e.g. Linear Algebra or Real Analysis. I focus on a clear understanding of the topic. A benchmark for truly understanding something is to be able to explain it in simple terms such that a layman could comprehend it.
I am a diligent, proficient individual, currently studying A level mathematics, further mathematics, physics and chemistry. With a natural flair and passion for these subjects, I am extremely keen to share my enthusiasm and facilitate the understanding of students who wish to unlock a level of potential that they were previously unaware of.
I am a mechanical engineering student and have great passion in Physics. Not Only would I like to teach you the maths and physics to the level you wish to up to AS level, but do maintain your interest in these subjects while having a deep understanding of the materials.
My teaching methodology depends on the student and the course . First i asses the student to place him in a certain level and the based on this assessment the strength and the frequency of the course will be decided.
The best teaching methodology with the subjects I’m offering to tutor is no methodology, I will tailor the lessons base on the topics you struggle with. I’ve mentored a high school maths class for 3 months before, and really enjoyed that experience.
I am a current Physics undergraduate in my second year at the University of Leeds, looking to tutor both Maths and Physics to level GCSE and below. I am currently averaging a first in my degree and have completed Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-levels. In my Maths GCSE I achieved an A* and in Physics I obtained an A.
First of all I evaluate the student and identify the needs and target, then I design a plan to meet the target. It is important to understand your need before starting and plan.I also make sure you will meet all the targets.
I like to give friendly and relateable teaching in Mathematics and Physics, mainly to A Level and GCSE students. Most students I've tutored end up achieving A at AS or A* at A level, no matter what grade they start with. I can help you with your technique, study habits, discipline and studying motivation.
I use varied methods of teaching. Mostly, I use discussion and discovery. In discovery, I guide students to discuss amongst them before we agree on the concepts to learn. If I have one student, I ask them leading questions to remind them of ideas they need to tackle their problems.
Very flexible teaching style, can adjust to different study pacing as required. I prefer to teach the more "boring" subjects by enlivening them with various techniques and methods. To make simple old numbers be more enjoyable and easy to understand.
my teaching method is to aim at a gcse grade which is a* in my biology and chemistry test and i want a degree and trying to make a high level standard level of opportunity's that can give a good education and degree in any subjected test.
I have competence in handling elementary school syllabus , high school students syllabuses in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Physics and undergraduate Chemistry and Physics students. I use accredited textbook for teaching and deliver one on one or group teaching.
My techniques are showing the child what to do and letting them do it. I will help them with their homework but not do it because they will not learn. I will mark their work and keep them occupied for every second.
I make sure my students are comfortable around me, this helps them like the subject even more. i take time to explain putting into consideration the strength of my student. I also try to give assignments after every session in order to evaluate the students understanding of the topic(s) treated.
My teaching method is on different steps 1- FIrst I will tell about the Content. 2- Tell about Practical Knowledge of Topic. 3- Tell 15 Minutes about theoretical Knowledge of Topic.
I am a final year student at University of Leeds. I got experience in teaching and can provide professional guidance. I have As in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. I am flexible and can adjust time. Any questions feel free to ask.
I am a student at the University of Leeds studying Product Design in the school of Mechanical Engineering. I completed my Maths A-level with an A*. I like to work with students directly to figure out the best way to help them improve their skills.
