About Suri
I’m a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s in Physics (MPhys), specialising in the fascinating intersection of physics and biology. My focus is on biophysics and the physics of living systems—areas where the beauty of nature meets the precision of physical laws. I’ve helped students understand how forces, energy, and motion apply within cells, tissues, and entire organisms. From molecular motors that drive cellular movement to the physics behind membrane transport and nerve impulses, I break complex topics into clear, approachable lessons. I also guide students through the mechanics of muscle motion, blood flow, and other principles of biomechanics. Whether it's diffusion across membranes or the electrical dynamics of neurons, I help learners grasp how physics brings life into focus. I’ve worked extensively with biology students, pre-med students, and anyone curious about the physical principles that govern life. My teaching approach in Physics is focused, practical, and designed for results. I help students build a strong understanding of core concepts in mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, thermodynamics, and modern physics. I also support students preparing for AP Physics exams with a structured plan that includes concept reviews, targeted drills, and full-length practice tests. I believe in breaking complex topics into simple steps, using real-world examples and clear explanations. Problem-solving is a key part of my sessions, where we practise different techniques and learn how to approach questions under exam conditions. We don’t just memorise—we understand. As someone passionate about mathematics and a fan of science fiction, I bring energy and curiosity into the learning space. I connect abstract ideas with exciting, real-life science to spark interest. My sessions are always goal-driven, yet flexible to meet the student’s pace. We’ll work together to build not only knowledge but confidence. You’ll learn how to think critically, avoid common traps, and manage time during the test.
