As a virtual tutor, my approach is centered around creating an engaging and interactive learning environment through online platforms. Here's an overview of my techniques and teaching methodology:

1. Online Platform:

I use a laptop and online tools to conduct lessons. Popular platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or dedicated educational platforms provide a comfortable and accessible space for students to connect with me.
2. Interactive Teaching:

I believe in making lessons interactive and engaging. Utilizing multimedia resources, interactive simulations, and real-world examples, I aim to make complex concepts more understandable and relatable for students.
3. Comfortable Learning Environment:

I strive to create a comfortable and open atmosphere, encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate in discussions. This fosters a collaborative learning experience where students feel confident in expressing their thoughts and seeking clarification.
4. Tailored Approach:

Each student has a unique learning style and pace. I customize my teaching methods to suit individual needs, ensuring that the content is accessible and challenging enough to promote growth.
5. Typical Length of a Lesson:

The typical length of a lesson can vary based on the subject and the student's needs. However, a standard session might last between 60 to 90 minutes, allowing sufficient time for explanation, practice, and addressing any questions or concerns.
6. Qualifications/Experience:

I bring teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Galway. This experience has provided me with a strong foundation in conveying complex concepts effectively, providing feedback, and tailoring support to individual learning styles.
7. Target Audience:

My lessons are primarily geared towards students studying physics, maths, chemistry, and English. The level of instruction can range from high school to university, accommodating a diverse age group and academic backgrounds.
In summary, my tutoring approach is founded on creating a dynamic and inclusive online learning environment, tailored to the unique needs of each student. I draw upon my experience as a teaching assistant and leverage online platforms to facilitate effective learning experiences in the fields of physics, maths, chemistry, and English.
