About Jennifer
As a highly dedicated early-elementary educator with specialized training in science-based reading instruction, I am committed to helping young learners build the strong academic foundation they need to thrive. With over 21 years of experience as a kindergarten teacher, I bring experience working with diverse learners, including students receiving RTI support and those who benefit from individualized instruction. Families can feel confident knowing that I utilize proven teaching practices, closely track progress, and maintain consistent communication. My goal is always to create a supportive learning environment where children feel capable, motivated, and proud of their growth. I understand exactly what young learners need to feel successful and confident. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and a certification in ESL, allowing me to support diverse learners and tailor instruction to each child’s language and academic needs. I use proven, research-based teaching methods and closely monitor progress so families always know how their child is growing. Above all, I create a warm, supportive learning environment where children feel celebrated, capable, and excited to learn.

My Teaching Approach:
I use a structured, explicit, and joyful teaching style tailored to each child’s needs. I blend systematic phonics, hands-on practice, and engaging activities to help students build confidence and master foundational literacy and basic math skills.
