About Aaron
As a proud Berklee College of Music alumnus with over 20 years of experience as both a performer and educator, I am deeply passionate about helping students connect with and excel in music. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced guitarist, I tailor my lessons to meet your individual goals, learning style, and interests. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of performing and composing for a diverse range of media, including placements on ABC, CBS, Fox Sports, and in iconic shows like The Young & The Restless, All My Children, The Middle, and on the BBC, among many others. My music has reached millions, and I’m eager to bring this wealth of experience into our lessons together. I believe in creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated to grow. My teaching philosophy centers on building a strong musical foundation, fostering creativity, and ensuring that learning remains fun and engaging. Whether you're learning guitar technique, music theory, or composing your own pieces, my goal is to help you become the musician you've always dreamed of. I look forward to sharing my knowledge, experience, and love for music with you. I believe that every student is unique, and I take a personalized approach to teaching that caters to individual learning styles, interests, and goals. Whether you’re just picking up the guitar for the first time or you’re looking to refine your advanced technique, my goal is to help you build a strong, confident musical foundation.
I prioritize creating a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and growing. My lessons are designed to be both challenging and fun, ensuring that learning feels rewarding every step of the way.
Adaptable: I understand that each student has different goals, whether it's learning your favorite songs, mastering music theory, or preparing for a performance. I adapt my teaching to meet these goals and help students reach their full potential.
Hands-on: I believe in learning by doing, so my lessons are interactive and focused on real-world application. You'll spend a lot of time playing the guitar, working on technique, and applying what you learn immediately.
Theory and Creativity: While I believe in mastering the fundamentals, I also encourage students to explore their creativity. We’ll work on improvisation, composition, and developing a deeper understanding of music theory to give you the tools to express yourself on your instrument.
Patience and Support: I am a strong advocate of patience in the learning process. Progress takes time, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way with encouragement, constructive feedback, and positive reinforcement.
