I am a postgraduate student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in viola performance. This class is perfect for anyone wanting to know more about the beautiful world of orchestral music.
I use the Kodaly method of teaching, which involves learning with sight, aural skills (hearing) and kinesthetic learning (learning through movement). I make learning the nitty gritty details interesting, and am able to help students think creatively and enjoy learning.

I am an energetic music tutor with over a decade of teaching experience, starting in the United States and now in various areas of the UK. My pupils in violin and viola have been successful in various endeavors, whether in youth orchestra auditions, performances, or ABRSM grade exams.
This class is an interactive lecture style class-- I won't talk to you or at you, I'll be talking with you! I want to hear your ideas, what you think, what you notice, and have you thinking creatively and outside the box to deepen your understanding of the subject!
