I confess that my feedback style is blunt because I want you to progress quickly. We pace our work by balancing technical barre chords and power chords with actual songs you enjoy. I use my BM Guitar degree to explain the theory behind the music without making it feel like a chore. You will receive a free trial session to assess starting level before we commit to a plan.
We prioritize the techniques that make your playing sound authentic. My approach keeps the focus on your long-term growth as a guitarist.

Sometimes I suspect that self taught players have the most to unlearn. Having played the Montreal folk scene for 11 years, I understand the grit required to move past plateaus.
I hold a BM Guitar degree and have guided 207 students through their own musical growth. My focus includes everything from complex scales and modes to the basics of reading tabs.
Improvisation and soloing become natural once you master chord transitions and ear training. You get a teacher who has lived on stages for two decades. I am ready to help you find your own voice.
