About Poornima Prasad
As an individual, I have always believed that dedication and passion can take one a long way in life both professionally and personally. Education should include building self-awareness and unlearning of behavior patterns that are maladaptive. Professionally, I am currently working towards my license to work as a Psychotherapist in Canada and volunteering as a distress line Counselor.

I have over 2 years of experience teaching General Psychology, Health Psychology, Psychopathology, and Clinical Assessments for Children and Adults. My other experiences include teaching English and Math to kids with Specific Learning Disabilities, life skills and behaviour management among children with autism.
I was involved in a country-wide research project on Dementia in India.
