About Benjamin
I am a Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Bayelsa Medical University, Nigeria. I am in Glasgow, UK, for a PhD in Nanomedicine, specifically the use of nanoparticles for pancreatic cancer therapy. Teaching has been my lifelong profession and, moving to a different country has kept me out of the classroom. I enjoy the excitement in young students when they finally come to truly understand a scientific concept, or when they have figured out how to solve a mathematical problem.

I have taught at almost all educational levels, so I recognize the need for seamless flow of information and ideas and the importance of using examples for better clarify a concept. For proper understanding of the sciences, a teacher must be able to help the student visualize the concepts, either by relating with everyday events, objects, observations, or by conducting simple home-made experiments to demonstrate. This is what I do.
