With 22 years as an elementary school psychologist, I have extensive experience supporting students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. My work has focused on understanding individual learning needs, addressing social-emotional challenges, and collaborating with teachers and families to create inclusive, effective learning environments. Through this experience, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique challenges English language learners face and strategies to help them succeed academically and socially. Currently completing my EdD dissertation, I bring both practical experience and current research-based approaches to teaching, making me well-prepared to engage and support ELL students in achieving their full potential.
