I normally tailor the lesson towards the needs of the student by identifying problem areas and then tackling these directly. In this way, the teaching can be used to focus on the weaker areas and as a result, create a student with more confidence in their abilities.
I am a Masters student at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow studying Mechanical Engineering. I have many years experience in all subjects that have a mathematical basis. I am on course to graduate with distinction and so will be of use to any school-level students who need extra help for their exams.

Ramboll Singapore Feb 2016 – May 2016
Worked with a team of engineers in Singapore and working on mechanical and structural engineering projects throughout Asia and the Middle East. Main responsibilities included interpreting engineering diagrams, research, CAD drawings, compiling reports and presentations for company bids.
Teamwork was an important development throughout and I found myself able to challenge ideas and processes in a constructive and motivated way. Timekeeping and responsibility on projects was another area of growth due to many people, co-workers and clients, relying on my efforts to then complete their own part of the project.
Scuba Schools International Aug 2017 – September 2017
Trained to become a professional scuba diver over the summer and then worked as a professional for Scuba Schools International. The training and work included learning how to teach, lead, navigate underwater, brief and take responsibility for recreational divers. The required a solid knowledge of the dive sites, the potential hazards and the safety procedures. One of the most important parts of being a Divemaster was the ability to speak to customers from different backgrounds and allow them to understand the plan for the dive and to feel comfortable under my supervision.
Regent Gardens Medical Centre March 2014 – July 2015
Work included IT, patient correspondence and responsibility for distributing sensitive and confidential patient information to doctors. The Medical Practice is a small team of approximately 30 staff and doctors. While at Regent Gardens I helped with the transfer from physical patient notes to electronically stored notes and this required learning and teaching a computer programme to the members of staff. This taught me organisation skills along with an important understanding of leadership skills.
