About Devon
I am a graduate from the University of Exeter, I spent 4 years at the University in which I completed my Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree. During my time at University I was heavily involved in the Football Club where I was actively involved in all aspects of the running of the society.
Growing up I always enjoyed Maths, the aspect of solving mathematics was really enjoyable to me and what I loved is generally once you understand it, it instantly becomes easier.
Outside of my degree I worked for Barracudas holiday camps each summer and in the easter holidays in which I was a Team Leader, often looking after a large group of children and overseeing various activities. Alongside this I was a Group Leader on NCS, in which I was the point of contact for 15-20, fifteen to seventeen year olds over a three week residential programme. My team were the highest performing in the UK in which we as a collective raised >£1,600 in one day for funding for a care home in Ascot.
Alongside this I have been heavily involved in charity work, at University I was part of the Movember committee in which we in the two years of my involvement saw the University raise >£100,000 each year finishing first in the country, alongside this I have raised>£3,000 myself through the aid of various physical challenges.
Outside of my professional work today I am a keen photographer and have twice been on lengthy travelling trip where I have been able to explore many aspects of the world and indulge in my passion for photography. This has seen me visit countries such as the US, South Africa, Vietnam, The Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Fiji amongst many other destinations.
I growing up always enjoyed maths and saw it as a perfect escape from the vast abundance of written subject and therefore often thrived in the subject. Despite also doing A levels in Government and Politics, and Geography in which I achieved A* and an A, I still thoroughly enjoyed the escape. I understand that the processing of some maths can be difficult for others and want to do what I can to help others in gaining a better understanding.

I have had multiple experience outside of my degree in professional work working alongside children in both educational and recreational roles. I have sufficient skills in motivating and have a high degree of patience. Lessons can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours in length, depending on what it is that an individual requires assistance with.
I have achieved both a Masters degree in Finance and Investment and an undergraduate degree in Business and Management both from the University of Exeter. In my A-Levels I averaged >85% in all my Maths exams including S1, M1, C1, C2, C3 and C4. As well As this I achieved >97% in GCSE Maths achieving an A*.
My lessons are for children of all ages aiming on those looking for assistance with SATs, GCSEs, General help and assistance, and aspects of A-Level maths on request. My main aim is to assist those who struggle in achieving what they desire and ultimately assist them in getting to where they want to be and achieving the goals they so wish to achieve.
Further I am happy to assist all or any individuals that wish to have greater exposure or assistance with mathematics.
